Safety FAQs

No prior experience is required for our beginner trails. We match each rider with an appropriate horse and provide thorough instruction before your ride. Beginners are paired with our most gentle, predictable horses, and guides provide continuous support throughout the experience.

Yes, for the safety of both horses and riders, we have a weight limit of 250 pounds. This follows Georgia equine safety guidelines and ensures the well-being of our horses. We maintain a variety of horses that can accommodate different rider sizes and weights within this limit.

We monitor weather conditions closely. In case of thunderstorms, heavy rain, or extreme heat, rides may be rescheduled or cancelled for safety. Light rain generally doesn't affect our operations as we provide rain gear. If we cancel due to weather, you'll receive a full refund or can reschedule at no additional cost.

Yes, please inform us of any medical conditions or physical limitations that might affect your riding experience. This includes back problems, recent surgeries, pregnancy, allergies, or any condition that could require special attention. This information helps us prepare appropriately and ensure your safety.

All our trail guides and instructors are certified in First Aid and CPR. They undergo rigorous training in horse management, rider safety, emergency procedures, and trail navigation.
